We worked on this project to convert an old farm barn into a five star ski chalet. It involved collaborating with many other trades people on a tight schedule. Works included adding huge structural joists to span the building and create new floors; cladding the exterior; restructuring the carpentry on the roof; relaying the entire pitched roof to insulate and create a new cavity followed by the alpine tiles. Works also included ornate barge boards and joinery. It was a pleasure and great learning opportunity to join Andy and Karen in building their dream ski chalet in the French Alpes.
