Our Prices

Fixed price

On most large jobs we work to a fixed price. This price is agreed with clients after detailed discussions about what's needed and before any work starts. We always stick to this price. It's worked through in meticulous detail and we clearly set out in the quote what work we have included. We regularly do little extras for nothing to make sure the job meets our own high standards.

Sometimes clients request new work or significant changes mid-way through a project. This is fine with us, but we do charge for these. We will agree the price with the client before we move ahead.

- Tradesman £35 per hour + VAT (minimum 3 hours)

Our rates exclude the cost of materials.

Sometimes clients ask us if they can supply the materials for the project. Although we are not averse to this, it does mean the client becomes a project manager and takes on the responsibilities therein.

The Process

Meet and have a chat about what you’d like to do

We’ll come to your home or site and discuss your needs, ideas and assess the scope of work required. If there is a budget in mind then we are more than happy to work to it. We’ll then go away and carefully consider what’s required for each element of the job and do some research into the site. We will then give you a few options price wise and an overall costing followed by your feedback. Trew Turner will then produce the formal quote with clear pricing documented within.

Confirmation of price and payment of deposit

Once we have agreed on the price we begin to plan the job and logistics. We require a 40% deposit that puts the job in the diary and covers materials needed on site. On jobs longer than one month we will introduce a monthly payment plan tied to finished sections of the job. It's good at this point to highlight any special site needs or considerations.

Construction of the project

Once we begin on site we take care of everything. From setting out a health and safety plan to fire exits, handling deliveries, parking and sub-contractors. We work with the client in terms of access, security and welfare. As a customer you can be involved as much or as little as you like and we’re always on hand to answer any questions or resolve any concerns you might have. We are used to working with difficult terrain, tight access and busy environments.  We suggest weekly site meetings to go over progress. Our team are well organised and approachable. We work 8-4:30 most days.

Trew Turner after care

When we’ve completed the job we  take the time to hand-over the works and equip you with the knowledge of how to care for your build or product. We are easily contactable should you have any queries at any time after works have been completed.  Once you have signed off the build on the day the remaining 60% is due to pay, we request that this is done on the day of completion, just like any other product. Over the months we’d love to hear from you just for a chat to learn how you’re using the space.
